The Khaos Research group at the UMA is working on the design of a new alert system that will help detect possible anomalies in the behaviour of elderly people living alone. Leer Más.  

KHAOS has developed software that comprehensively compares the gene expression information produced in cancer patients. In this way, it is possible to better observe the response to treatment in patients. This is the first time that a genetic analysis tool has been made available to clinical specialists.

A group of rural organisations, universities and companies, led by UPA, have started to create the first online platform for farmers and livestock farmers, with the aim of improving generational change on farms. KHAOS will support the software development of this network.

The councillor Rogelio Velasco emphasises the contribution that the Khaos research group of the UMA has had in the achievement of this new milestone for the technology park.

More than thirty researchers from the University of Malaga from seven different groups will take part in the ‘EnBiC2-Lab’ -Environmental and Biodiversity Climate Change Lab- project, which is part of the European virtual infrastructure of e-Science, technology and innovation for research on biodiversity and ecosystems LifeWatch ERIC.
