Our colleague Virginia García Millán attended the Living Planet Symposium of the European Space Agency (ESA), one of the world’s leading events on Earth Observation and Remote Sensing for Environmental Protection, in Vienna from 23 to 27 June 2025.
The event brought together more than 6,900 participants from 119 countries, with more than 4,200 scientific sessions and posters, as well as 150 trainings.
During the symposium, the latest news on the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem, future releases of the Copernicus Space Component, and advances in key applications such as Digital Twins, drones, ecosystem monitoring, agriculture and many others were presented.
