LifeWatch ERIC and IUCN held their first workshop on Ecosystem Services. These workshops bring together experts from various institutions to guide the development of tools that serve professionals and decision-makers in this field to make strategic decisions. The KHAOS group, through the EnBiC2-Lab project, had the opportunity to participate and contribute their knowledge to the development of these tools.

The Khaos group at the University of Malaga has developed a tool based on artificial intelligence and automatic image classification to improve the detection accuracy of melanoma, a type of skin cancer. Professor Kateryna Ivanko visited ITIS to explore possible collaborations. This visit is part of the cooperation with "Igor Sikorsky Kiev Polytechnic Institute" (National Technical University of Ukrainea) through the Erasmus+ KA171 project of the University of Malaga. During the meeting, important aspects of ECG measurement and analysis by means of activity bracelets in patients with obesity and the relevance of gut microbiome analysis to detect various diseases were discussed.
